The Clinical centre is the largest and the most important public health institution in the Republic of Srpska.

The main activity of the Clinical centre Banja Luka is hospital treatment (admission, diagnostic and treatment) of the patients at the secondary and tertiary level of healthcare services.

Efficient and effective highly specialized health, research, scientific and educational institution, committed to service excellence for the population of Republic of Srpska and broader region and continuous performance improvement at secondary and tertiary level of healthcare services, through continuous investment in development and employees, adoption and creation of innovative solutions and improvement of cooperation with the community, in order to improve public health and conditions that influence health.

VISION


Vision of the Clinical Centre Banja Luka is to become a leading provider of healthcare services at secondary and tertiary level to the population of the Republic of Srpska and broader region. To be contemporary, rational and effective health institution dedicated to the health and well-being of patients, employees and broader community ready to respond to the challenges ahead and to satisfy user needs in the domain of healthcare services.

The Clinical Centre Management will devote the main attention to the efficiency, effectiveness, efficacy   and rationality of business operations.  We will develop a professional responsibility and responsibility of the Clinical Centre Management. We will accept changes and innovations that contribute to the higher quality of the healthcare services provided and business operations as well as promote the methods of self- appraisal   and external quality assessment.

Representatives of the Clinical Center of Banja Luka, Zvezdana Rajkovača, Ph.D, specialist, director of medical affairs of conversative medicine, Zoran Aleksić, MSc, Director of medical affairs and surgical medicine and Nada Jokanovic, chief of head director’s cabinet, visited Belgrade and Military Medical Academy in Belgrade on March, the 3rd, 2010.

Center for multiple sclerosis as part of the Clinic of Neurology

 Center for multiple sclerosis is engaged in diagnostic testing and therapeutic treatment of patients with multiple sclerosis and other demyelinating and autoimmune diseases of CNS (central nervous system). Modern diagnostic and therapeutic protocols are available to our patients.
In the cabinet for multimodal evoked potentials, neurophysiological examinations are performed (VEP, SSEP and AEPMS) on modern equipment and with highly educated staff. This is the only cabinet of that kind in Republic of Srpska.

Modern implantation-prosthetic technology in ortho surgery

Contemporary ortho surgery set a requirement for the introduction of implatational-prosthetic technologies in the treatment of deafness and hearing impaired to all otorhinolaryngologists, including us. Every house that deals with ortho surgery and tries to its  ability and level of development present to patients and to the professional public, must master these skills. Despite the high cost of this form of treatment, and demanding education that must be carried out outside the borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Department for diseases of ear, nose and throat decided to to this.
