In Banja Vrućica, hotel Kardial, from 13-May 15, 2010, was held a full professional set of ” May pulmonic days 2010″ where were 250 doctors of different specialties from all parts of the former Yugoslavia. Anyway, this is 18th assembly of the doctors who deal with pulmonic problems. This set is one of the highest quality of professional conferences in the former Yugoslavia.

The main topic of the expert meeting was bronchial carcinoma and Pandemic Flu, and other topics that clearly emphasize the necessary multidisciplinary in pulmonology. More than 50 works, in which is, in a very interesting way, described this area, with epidemiological and therapeutic point of view, was published in the magazine of Medical Uviversity of Banja Luka, “Scripta Medica”. The exchange of experience helped to equalize the criteria in the diagnosis and treatment of these diseases, and remove any doubts about the introduction of newer medicines that are desperately needed by our patients, which is more when it comes to cancer, bronchi, bronchial carcinoma as the leading cause of death from malignant disease among men in our region. It also gives a special attention to the number of patients who suffer from the new pandemic flu, the different severity of the disease in these patients and treatment and prevention.
