Department of Intensive Care Medicine

On 01.9.2014. were set aside for the Department of Intensive Care Medicine conservative branch as a separate organizational unit of the University Hospital Clinical Center of Banja Luka. This Service will be treated with life-threatening patients in the conservative branch of medicine. It will support all departments and divisions of the University Hospital Clinical Center, and at the same time will support all health care facilities who have any need to refer these patients to be treated in the University Hospital Clinical Center of Banja Luka. In cooperation with the world’s prestigious hospitals in this area was achieved close cooperation in vocational and educational sense and is part of the project enable development of Intensive Care Medicine. Equipment and procedures have also been introduced in accordance with the applicable standards ensuring a high level of diagnosis and treatment. Thanks to good equipment patients can be fully respiratory and cardiovascular disposed. Department of Intensive Care Medicine for the conservative branch will coordinate the work of all intensive care clinics that treat non-surgical patients at the University Hospital Clinical Center of Banja Luka, which will result in higher levels of service delivery life-threatened patients in close collaboration with the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care.
