On 01.9.2014. were set aside for the Department of Intensive Care Medicine conservative branch as a separate organizational unit of the University Hospital Clinical Center of Banja Luka. This Service will be treated with life-threatening patients in the conservative branch of medicine. It will support all departments and divisions of the University Hospital Clinical Center, and at the same time will support all health care facilities who have any need to refer these patients to be treated in the University Hospital Clinical Center of Banja Luka. In cooperation with the world’s prestigious hospitals in this area was achieved close cooperation in vocational and educational sense and is part of the project enable development of Intensive Care Medicine. Equipment and procedures have also been introduced in accordance with the applicable standards ensuring a high level of diagnosis and treatment. In 2008 he established the intensive care unit at the University Hospital Clinical Center of Banja Luka by the standards of the organization of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine.
