Yesterday, on 28 July 2014, there was total of 51 testing and out of that number, 4 patients were positive on HCV, and one was positive on HBsAg. Mr. Zdenko Simonovic as representative of the Association B12 (Association of persons diseased by Hepatitis) donated 50 boxes of Hepatil pills for the patients of the Hospital.

Hepatil is not a drug, but food-supplement. This action put focus of the citizens on:

• the fact that the persons diseased by those chronic virus infections most usually do not know that they are diseased, since the symptoms arrive in final stages
• importance of preventive controls, since infections sharing is clearly defined, as well as preventive measures. The rule is that prevention is much cheaper than cure therapy in case when disease is in progressive stages.
• discrimination and pressure against diseased ones, due to lack of information and knowledge about those medical problems, since they are not being spread in classical human contact.
