Traditional dirge in honor of killed employees of the University Hospital of Banja Luka Clinic Centre was served on 1 August in Banja Luka. During the war 1992-1995, four employees of the Centre were killed while one of them went missing. Numerous employees of the Hospital attended the Dirge, and paid tribute to their killed colleagues.
Before the beginning of the dirge, management of the Hospital met with family members of killed employees, talked with them about their problems, and delivered symbolical financial help. Besides family members, management of the hospital, veterans’ organizations and officials of the hospital, the dirge was also attended by Mr. Mile Cukovic as representative of the Veterans’ Organization of the City of Banja Luka and Mr. Miko Skoric, as representative of RS Veterans’ Association.
Attendees lighten the candles and paid tribute to killed ones. After the protocol was done, attendees were addressed by General Manager of the University Hospital of Banja Luka Clinic Centre Mirko Stanetic, who said that the employees should never forget the ones killed during the war, but also their family members
