Prominent Doctor Durr-E-Sabih visits the Institute for Radiology

Prominent Doctor Durr-E-Sabih, Director of the Institute for Nuclear Medicine and Radio Therapy in Multan paid educative visit to the Institute for Clinical Radiology. The occasion for his arrival was organization of thematically progressive education for local radiologists, about diagnostic and therapy procedures. However, Doctor Sabih is interested in all sorts of UZV practices, as well as for intervene procedures in Gynecology.

He got information on the way of work in the University Hospital of Banja Luka Clinic Centre, but also shared useful expert advices. This visit is part of long-year and multi-national project implemented by International Agency for Atomic Energy, as part of medical use of Ionic radiation. Those diagnoses are being especially used for improvement in diagnostical procedures about breast cancer. 15 countries participate in implementation of IAEA CRP Project, and Institute for Clinical Radiology of the University Hospital of Banja Luka Clinic Centre is the only healthcare institution from BiH which takes part in this project. Each of health institutions in country members have a goal to visit the other healthcare institutions which have better practices, and to get education for the other participants and users in this project. Based on the information about work of the Institute at Banja Luka clinic Centre, Doctor Durr-E-Sabih emphasized that visited institution is also referent for education.

“I really feel wonderful here, with the doctors and other medical personnel of your hospital since you are very friendly and kind. I saw the medical personnel which patiently work and which has excellent relations with the patients. I was surprised of the knowledges of young doctors, although they still did not pass the exam for the specialist. I really hope that our mutual cooperation will be continued also after I leave this place”, said Durr-E-Sabih. Doctor Durr-E-Sabih is radiologist who works with UZV recordings and intervene procedures in this field. He is author of many scientific articles in this field of medicine, while he has top expertise in nuclear medicine and diagnosis of breast cancer.
