DonacijaApoteciPress conference on the occasion of the donation for University Hospital of Banja Luka Clinic Centre was held on 3 September 2014, in the Institute for Procurement of Medical Goods of the University Hospital. On that occasion, the journalists were addressed by Deputy Director for Medical Affairs Jadranka Vidovic and Specialist for Toxicology Vladimir Pikula. “We are gathered today on beautiful occasion since the donation for University Hospital of Banja Luka Clinic Centre was delivered on 29 August 2014. It has been provided by NGO Save Serbian Children, seated in Tennessee (USA), which is headed by great humanist, Mr. Milos Supica.

Total worth of the donation is 55,640 USD. As You know, University Hospital of Banja Luka Clinic Centre is the biggest health institution in RS which has around 1,300 beds, and around 1,000 patients daily use treatment in this hospital, so every donation is more than welcome. Our needs are enormously high, and the problems are being solved on daily level, so all organizational units have necessary materials and they regularly function”, stated Vidovic. RS Ministry of Health and Social Protection coordinated the activities on delivery of the donation, in accordance with its competencies. “This is about very significant donation which is intended for University Hospital of Banja Luka Clinic Centre, and which brings medical assets, medical materials and orthopedic materials which passed procedure and got all necessary approvals”, said Pikula. Red Cross of RS, City Organization of Red Cross in Srbac was in charge of transport and customs affairs. The donation was delivered in the container with the weight of 6,800 kg.
