In the period from 18 to 20 September 2014 in the ethno village Stanisic in Bijeljina  22th “May pulmonary days 2014” were held. Key topic of the May pulmonary days were chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, lung cancer and asthma.The May pulmonary days in 2014 were organized by the Association of pneumophtisiologist / pulmonologists of the Republika Srpska and the Department of Pulmonary Diseases of the University Hospital Clinical Center of Banja Luka. This year, as in previous years by organizing “the May pulmonary days,” Association of pneumophtisiologist / pulmonologists of the Republika Srpska and the Department of Pulmonary Diseases of the University Hospital Clinical Center of Banja Luka aimed at the promotion of pulmonary medicine as a multidisciplinary science that today, but also in the upcoming period should carry significant weight in the fight against non-communicable diseases and malignancies, and continuing the fight against tuberculosis, as well as allergic reactions as risk factors in children with bronchial asthma.
“May pulmonary days” represent the Congress of the international character  at which are presented original researches, expert papers and review lectures in the field of pulmonary medicine in which participate doctors from other medical specialties, who are in their daily work, meet with respiratory issues. In the work of this expert meeting participated 230 doctors with more than 60 of applicants scientific papers. The papers were published in the journal of the Association of pneumophtisiologist / pulmonologists of the Republika Srpska and is available in electronic form at www.respiratio.info.
