Prof.dr Raffaele Bugiardini (3264 x 1840)A respected Professor Raffaele Bugiardini MD, PhD, from Bologna, Italy, visited the Clinic of Cardiovascular Diseases of the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka. On that occasion, on November 7th, 2014, from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon, a cardiology seminar entitled “Acute Coronary Syndrome” was held in the Amphitheatre of the Maternity Building.

The aims of the seminar are exchange of experiences and knowledge in the treatment of acute coronary syndrome and enhancement of cooperation. Besides our physicians from the Clinic of Cardiovascular Diseases, a respected Professor Raffaele Bugiardini MD, PhD, who has been working as a full professor at the University of Bologna since 2014, also held a lecture.The lecture was attended by specialists and residents in internal medicine disciplines and the aim is continuing education on acute coronary syndrome. Also, Professor Bugiardini is a member of the European Society of Cardiology and the American Heart Association. He published more than 400 scientific papers. His particular interest is in acute coronary syndrome, with emphasis on pathophysiology and secondary prevention. Professor Raffaele Bugiardini MD, PhD is an eminent professor who conducts a project entitled The International Survey of Acute Coronary Syndromes in Transitional Countries.
