On November 17th and 18th, 2014, pupils of High School Banja Luka visited the Psychiatric Clinic of the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka.
Pupils being educated according to IB programme (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme) in the High School Banja Luka also attend psychology classes for a period of two years within their regular classes. Pupils demonstrated an exceptional motivation to communicate with medical personnel in charge for looking after patients hospitalized in the Psychiatric Clinic. The aim of the visit was obtaining information on organization and method of working in the above-mentioned organizational unit of our institution. Sixteen pupils were divided into two groups. Each group spent one hour in the Psychiatric Clinic obtaining information on nature of relations in professional treatment of people with psychic disorders and psychic diseases. Pleased with the presented information, pupils left the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka with positive impressions and announced a new visit.
