UB KCBL TransplantacijaThe eighteenth kidney transplant was successfully performed in the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka. We would like to remind the public that the first transplant was performed more than four years ago in the UH CC BL with the assistance of the Team from the Military Medical Academy Belgrade that has been also involved in the education of our personnel. It is important to emphasize that up to now all the transplants were performed without any complications.

The eighteenth transplant was performed on Friday, March 13th, 2015. A transplant patient was R.G. (aged 30 years) and a donor was a mother R.S. (aged 50 years). A complete preoperative preparation of patients was carried out by our physicians at the Department of Nephrology of the Internal Medicine Clinic.
