The second regular session of the Advisory Council of the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka

On April 21st, 2015 in the meeting room of the Management of the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka, the second regular session of the Advisory Council was held. The Council is comprised of respected physicians who spent their working lives performing the duties at the managerial positions in our institution and who have huge experience in improving the quality of work and in providing the services to our patients.

The session was attended by Acting General Manager Professor Mirko Stanetic, MD, PhD, Deputy General Manager Dusan Majkic, LL.B., Assistant General Manager for Non-Medical Affairs Miodrag Ilic, LL.B., Assistant General Manager for Medical Affairs Professor Zvezdana Rajkovaca, MD, PhD, Assistant General Manager for Medical Affairs Slobodan Hajder, MD, President of the Advisory Council Professor Slobodan Jankovic, MD, PhD, Deputy President of the Advisory Council Primarius Zeljko Rodic, MD, Professor Milan Arbutina, MD, PhD, Primarius Milos Bajic, MD, Professor Nikola Laganin, MD, PhD, Professor Dusan Pantic, MD, PhD, Professor Rade Vilendecic, MD, PhD, Professor Ilija Zubovic, MD, PhD, Primarius Dimitrije Trisic MD, MSc and academician Professor Dragan Danelisen, MD, PhD, member of Government Team for implementation of Korea III Project and president of Government Team for monitoring of the implementation of the contract for construction of the central part of the South Wing Zoran Aleksic MD, MSc and Head of the Office of the General Manager Nada Jokanovic.

Acting General Manager of the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka, Professor Mirko Stanetic MD, PhD, presented introductory information related to activities already undertaken in our institution, improvement of work and further plans. Assistants of General Manager for Medical Affairs Professor Zvezdana Rajkovaca MD, PhD and Slobodan Hajder, MD presented results of work and activities in the surgical and conservative fields of medicine. After presentation of Professor Zvezdana Rajkovaca MD, PhD, members of the Advisory Council presented suggestions with the aim of improvement of functioning of our institution. Assistant General Manager for Non-Medical Affairs Miodrag Ilic, LL.B., informed attendees on solving the ongoing property and legal relations and organizational and legal affairs in the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka.

Zoran Aleksic MD, MSc presented information on course of works regarding construction and equipping of the South Wing of the Central Medical Block of the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka. After the session, members of the Advisory Council accompanied by the members of Management visited the South Wing of the Central Medical Block. After commissioning of the South Wing, outpatient departments which are located in inpatient ward will be located in an adequate and specialized space. Also, our patients will be no longer faced with ongoing problems: too crowded hospital departments, small and inadequate spaces, mixing of inpatients and outpatients. During the visit to the premises of the South Wing of the Central Medical Block of the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka in which capital medical equipment is installed, members of the Advisory Council have expressed satisfaction because relocation of outpatient departments will make it easier for staff to perform activities and patients will have more comfortable treatment conditions.
