Pulmonology specialists and medical personnel of the Pulmonology Clinic of the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka will carry out lung function tests in all interested citizens and provide them with adequate advices in accordance with spirometric results.
Theme of this year’s World Asthma Day is “You Can Control Your Asthma.” By launching these campaigns, we are focused on the significance of clean air, air that does not contain contaminants, tobacco smoke, hazardous gases and other toxins that can affect bronchial tubes. Quality of air affects 100% of population, especially people suffering from lung diseases and respiratory diseases.
Respiratory diseases are among the leading causes of death worldwide. The majority of respiratory diseases can be prevented or can be better controlled in the earlier stage i.e. if they are detected in a timely manner. One of the most important lung function tests is spirometry.
