Students of the Agricultural and Medical High School Bijeljina visited the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka. Every year,within the curriculum, the students visit the biggest health care institution in the Republic of Srpska. Accordingly, they obtain information on the functioning and method of working of the organizational units in our institution. In total, two hundred students participated in this visit i.e. medical technicians, pharmacy technicians, laboratory and sanitary technicians and physical therapy technicians. They were accompanied by eight professors and a director of the school. Students were divided into two big groups.
The first group visited several clinics located on Paprikovac hill i.e. the Internal Medicine Clinic, the Clinic of Cardiovascular Diseases, the Ophthalmology Clinic, ENT Clinic, the Neurology Clinic and the Oncology Clinic. The second group of students visited surgical clinics at the city centre location. On that occasion, they visited the Clinic of General and Abdominal Surgery, the Orthopaedic Clinic, the Traumatology Clinic, the Clinic of Vascular Diseases and the Urology Clinic.
Before the tour, Acting General Manager of the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka, Professor Mirko Stanetic MD, PhD greeted all students and their professors and wished them a warm welcome in the biggest health care institution in the Republic of Srpska. Accompanied by the head nurses, the students visited the clinics and obtained information on complex method of working of the medical personnel. They also expressed their positive impressions about the visit.
