On June 29th, 2015, representatives of Joint-stock company Trznica Banja Luka and representatives of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund of the Republic of Srpska, Branch Office Banja Luka visited the Clinic of Gynaecology and Obstetrics.
The occasion of their visit is giving gifts to the first babies born on St. Vitus Day.
Traditionally, Joint – stock company Trznica Banja Luka and City of Banja Luka donate a sum amounting to BAM 300.00 and a gift package to the first baby born on St. Vitus Day in Banja Luka. The gift package consists of basic supplies for a mother and a child. According to the words of Slobodanka Gacanovic, Head of Commercial Sector, Joint- stock company Trznica Banja Luka, as a socially responsible company, promotes and supports birth giving. It also supports children to grow up healthy and encourages all their activities.
Also, representatives of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund of the Republic of Srpska, Branch Office Banja Luka, visited the Clinic of Gynaecology and Obstetrics and donated a sum amounted to BAM 500.00 to the first baby born on this day. This year and over the past two years, this institution has been donating a sum amounting to BAM 500.00 to the first babies born on June 28th in Bijeljina, Banjaluka, Prijedor, Doboj, East Sarajevo and Trebinje. In 2015, the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund marks 23rd anniversary. Therefore, the aim of this donation is sending the appeal in order to increase the birth rate in the Republic of Srpska. This symbolic gesture emphasizes the importance of birth rate for every country.
