1927-2015
It is with regret that we inform all employees in the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka and citizens that our respected colleague Primarius Slavko Pavic, MD, has passed away at the age of 87 on August 2nd, 2015.
Slavko Pavic, MD, a paediatric specialist was born on October 14th, 1927 in Sanski Most. In the period from 1943 to 1945, he participated in National Liberation War. He finished Grammar School in Banja Luka in 1947 and graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 1953. He completed a part of medical residency in the Children’s Hospital Banjaluka. His residency in Paediatrics was completed in 1968 in Novi Sad. He was employed in our institution from 1969 to 1991. In 1977, he held a position of Head of Outpatient Unit in the Children’s Dispensary within the Service for Protection of Health of Children and Youth in the Regional Medical Centre. During 1976, he also performed duties in the Centre for Pre-School Education in Banjaluka as a paediatric specialist.
In the period from 1984 to 1991, he held a position of medical specialist in Work Organization Clinical and Medical Centre Banjaluka,Basic Organization of Associated Labour Health Centre (Service for Protection of Health of Pre-school Children).
A commemorative session on the occasion of death ofPrimarius Slavko Pavic, MD will be held on Tuesday, August 4th, 2015 at twelve noon in the Amphitheatre of the Faculty of Medicine in Banja Luka (Paprikovac location).A funeral will take place on the same day at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Pantelija Cemetery in Borik.
