On October 15th, 2015, Professor Aleksandar Redzek, MD, PhD, director of the Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases Sremska Kamenica and Professor Stamenko Susak, MD, PhD, Head of the Cardiac Surgery Clinic within the Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases Sremska Kamenica visited the Clinic of Cardiovascular Diseases of the UCC RS. Guests were greeted by Professor Zvezdana Rajkovaca, MD, PhD, Assistant General Manager for Medical Affairs of the UCC RS and Assistant Professor Tamara Kovacevic-Preradovic, MD, PhD, Head of the Clinic of Cardiovascular Diseases.
First part of the visit was comprised of the meeting of Expert Cardiology & Cardiac Surgery Consulting Body. On that occasion health status in five patients including complete non-invasive and invasive diagnostic methods was presented. The aim was decision making in relation to further method of treatment. Besides our guests, the Consulting Body was composed of the physicians from the Clinic of Cardiovascular Diseases: Dijana Trninic, MD, Head of Coronary Care Unit, Sasa Loncar, MD, Head of the Department of Interventional Cardiology, Neno Dobrijevic, MD, Svetozar Srdic, MD, MSc, Primarius Dobrila Rodic, MD, MSc, Sanja Stojkovic, MD, Nina Zmaric, MD, Sinisa Kovacevic, MD, Miron Marjanovic MD and Zeljko Devic MD who presented health status in patients.
After the meeting of the Consulting Body, guests were hosted by General Manager of the UCC RS Professor Mirko Stanetic, MD, PhD. During the meeting, modalities of improvement of cooperation between these two health care institutions were discussed. Also, an agreement on organizing the joint consulting body was made. Cooperation will be enabled via video-link on every Friday and decisions on treatment of patients who need cardiac surgery treatments in a short period of time will be made.
