President of the Republic of Srpska Mr. Milorad Dodik together with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Zeljka Cvijanovic, Minister of Health and Social Welfare, director of the Health Insurance Fund, members of management of the UCC RS, visited the construction site of the UCC RS – reconstruction and equipping of the Central Medical Block and construction of the North Wing.
The tour was lead by the Project Manager of the above-mentioned project Nikola Bojic, MD, who explained that works were being performed according to the dynamic plan and that completion of the project was planned for 2018. He emphasized that surgical block with state-of-the-art equipment, intensive care units, emergency medicine centre and the Institute for Clinical Pathology would be located in the North Wing. Simultaneously with the completion of the North Wing, reconstruction of the Central Medical Block is being performed. It includes reconstruction of all six floors and commissioning of one additional floor.
President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik said that the aim of the entire project was to provide the Republic of Srpska with the most modern clinical centre in the region. Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Zeljka Cvijanovic expressed her satisfaction with the dynamic plan and the work scope of one of the most ambitious healthcare projects in the entire region.
