On the occasion of marking the World Glaucoma Week, on March 11th, 2015, medical personnel of the Ophthalmology Clinic of the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka conducted the costless glaucoma screening in the hall of the Central Medical Block.
The eighteenth kidney transplant was successfully performed in the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka. We would like to remind the public that the first transplant was performed more than four years ago in the UH CC BL with the assistance of the Team from the Military Medical Academy Belgrade that has been also involved in the education of our personnel.It is important to emphasize that up to now all the transplants were performed without any complications.

On February 24th, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., a lecture entitled “Stress echocardiography in clinical practice” was held in the Clinic of Cardiovascular Diseases of the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banjaluka“.
Professor Joachim Meyer MD, PhD visited the Medical Intensive Care Unit of the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banjaluka. He is an eminent expert, a long-standing head of the Cardio-Respiratory Unit of the Intensive Care Department at the Heidelberg University Hospital and Professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Heidelberg.
Company Roche Ltd donated financial assets amounted to BAM 200.000 for the needs of the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banjaluka. Owing to the support of this company, device Ventana BenchMark GX was procured and installed in the Institute of Pathology.
