The May Pulmonary Days 2014 finished
In the period from 18 to 20 September 2014 in the ethno village Stanisic in Bijeljina 22th “May pulmonary days 2014” were held. Key topic of the May pulmonary days were chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, lung cancer and asthma.

Education of our medical staff in Korea
One of the most important segments of Phase III of the project of modernization of hospitals in BiH – as part of the reconstruction of the South Wing of the University Hospital of the Clinical Center of Banja Luka, is the education of our medical staff in Severance Hospital in Seoul, Korea, which starts on 25 September 2014.

Doctors of the Department of Clinical Radiology, Dr. Vanja Soprenić and Dr. Bojan Jovanović, attended training at the Clinical Institute of Radiology, of University Clinical Centre Ljubljana, in the period from 18 to 22 August 2014.
Report from the conference held on 29-30 May in Bratislava, titled “Genetic testing for Health Purposes in Central and Eastern Europe”
Council of Europe Committee for Bioethics, as part of DEBRA Program, organized on 29 and 30 May 2014 in Bratislava the International Conference titled “Genetic testing for Health Purposes in Central and Eastern Europe.” Participants of the conference were experts from the fields of genetics in the countries of Central and East Europe. BiH had two representatives, one each from RS and FBiH. Doctor Nina Maric was the representative of the Clinic for Children Diseases of the University Hospital of Banja Luka Clinic Centre, who attended mentioned Conference.
Another success of our team for sports
In the period from 3 to 7 September 2014, Sports Association of the University Hospital of Banja Luka Clinic Centre participated in 8th Sports Gatherings of the employees in the field of sports which was held in Teslic. Banja Luka Clinic Centre employees won the first place, for 5th time in a row. We have had 55 participants in 22 disciplines, both for male and female participants.Total number of the employees who participated in this event was 710. Unions of Health and Social Protection of RS is organizer of this competition in last two years.Sports teams of the University Hospital of Banja Luka Clinic Centre won excellent places in various sports and competitions including football, handball for women, tennis, volleyball, basketball, chess, bowling and table tennis, but we underline the energy and efforts given by all our participants in all the competitions.
Donation for University Hospital of Banja Luka Clinic Centre
Press conference on the occasion of the donation for University Hospital of Banja Luka Clinic Centre was held on 3 September 2014, in the Institute for Procurement of Medical Goods of the University Hospital. On that occasion, the journalists were addressed by Deputy Director for Medical Affairs Jadranka Vidovic and Specialist for Toxicology Vladimir Pikula. “We are gathered today on beautiful occasion since the donation for University Hospital of Banja Luka Clinic Centre was delivered on 29 August 2014. It has been provided by NGO Save Serbian Children, seated in Tennessee (USA), which is headed by great humanist, Mr. Milos Supica.
Izvještaj o edukaciji u Institutu za radiologiju u Univerzitetsko- kliničkom centru Ljubljana
Ljekari Zavoda za kliničku radiologiju dr Vanja Soprenić i dr Bojan Jovanić su u periodu od 18. do 22. avgusta 2014. godine prisustvovali edukaciji u Kliničkom institutu za radiologiju, Univerzitetsko- kliničkog centra Ljubljana koja se odnosila na trening iz vaskularne i nevaskularne interventne radiologije.
Expert meetings were held in University Hospital of Banja Luka Clinic Centre
Expert meetings of the doctors from all the hospitals in RS were held in University Hospital of Banja Luka Clinic Centre, with maximal support of RS Ministry of Health and Social Protection, in the period from 25 to 28 August 2014. The goal of the meetings of the directors working on similar fields was to improve cooperation and coordination, and to provide even better health protection for the patients. The topics have been divided by certain similar fields, and the doctors of University Hospital of Banja Luka Clinic Centre addressed the attendees.
