Friendly donation of RTRS to the Department of Haemato-Oncology of the Paediatric Clinic
On June 18th, 2015, donation of the Radio-Television of the Republic of Srpska was delivered to the youngest patients at the Department of Haemato-Oncology of the Paediatric Clinic. The income obtained by selling the tickets for “St. George’s Children’s Song Festival, Banjaluka 2015“ is intended for treatment of children at the Department of Haemato-Oncology within the Paediatric Clinic of the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka.
Within the educational trainings for independent performing of laparoscopic surgeries, under the mentorship of Branko Cvjeticanin, MD from the University Clinical Centre Ljubljana, physicians of the Clinic of Gynaecology and Obstetrics performed laparoscopic-assisted radical hysterectomy for the first time. 
Physician from the Clinic of Cardiovascular Diseases, Vojislav Vukasinovic, MD is currently undergoingsubspecialty training program in cardiology in Hadassah Medical Centre, Jerusalem, Israel. It is the biggest hospital in Israel in which the latest treatment protocols are implemented. 
On June 2nd, 2015, pupils from the Primary School “Branko Copic”, accompanied by their teachers, visited the Department of Haemato-oncology of the Paediatric Clinic. On that occasion, our quests made our youngest patients happy and performed them a play entitled “Blue-Eyed”.
On May 28th, 2015, the Association of Radiologists of the Republic of Srpska and the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka in cooperation with Bayer Company organized visit of radiologists of the University Medical Centre Ljubljana i.e.
The Clinic of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka in cooperation with the Association for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery of the Republic of Srpska and the Union of Women with Breast Cancer “Iskra” organized lectures entitled „Primary and secondary breast surgery“.
On May 28th, 2015, the remaining pieces of state-of-the-art equipment were delivered to the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka. The procurement was made through the implementation of the Phase III of the Hospital Modernization Project in B&H.
On May 28th and 29th, 2015, Assistant Professor Jovan Matijasevic MD, PhD, Head of the Intensive Care Unit of the Institute for Pulmonary Diseases of Vojvodina, Sremska Kamenica visited the Department of Intensive Care Medicine of the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka. Cooperation between these two institutions formally commenced in February 2015, when Protocol on Cooperation was signed, especially in the field of intensive medicine.
In the period from May 21st to May 23rd, 2015, 23rd May Pulmonary Days were held in Teslic, in hotel “Kardial”. The event was organized by the Association of Pulmonologists of the Republic of Srpska and the Pulmonology Clinic of the University Hospital Clinical Centre Banja Luka.
